Truck Stock & Inventory
A tech who shows up without the part loses the trip. SolarProjeX tracks what each truck should be carrying, what the count day actually found, and drafts the restock order per vendor — plus a separate warehouse record for reusable equipment, from receipt through install or disposal.
Truck Stock shows every truck, its last count, and what's running low. On count day, techs count their own truck right from their phone — no spreadsheet, no clipboard. The screen then drafts one restock order per vendor from what's actually low, which a person places, marks ordered, and marks received when the parts are on the truck. Nothing orders or restocks itself — every step is a person clicking a real button.
Warehouse inventory is tracked separately, for reusable equipment rather than ordinary consumable parts: received, inspected, reserved, installed, or disposed, each with its own record and identifying details, by warehouse location. It's a different lifecycle from a part that gets used up — this is for the things that come back.
How it works
Last count and what's running low for every truck in the fleet, at a glance.
Techs count their own truck on count day — no paper, no separate spreadsheet to reconcile.
One order per vendor, built from what's actually low — your team places it, nothing auto-orders.
Receipt, inspection, reservation, install, or disposal — a real lifecycle for what comes back.
No — it drafts a restock order per vendor from what's actually low, but a person has to place it, mark it ordered, and mark it received. Nothing is automated.
From their phone, on the count day your admin sets — no spreadsheet or clipboard required.
No — inventory tracks reusable equipment through its own lifecycle (received, inspected, reserved, installed, disposed). The parts price book is about consumable parts and pricing.
